Welcome to My Organized Lifestyle

Hello Readers,

I’m so excited to introduce you to my updated and newly-launched blog (formerly “The Organizing Mama”) and web site. It’s been a long time coming and after much work, here it is! With the introduction of my book, The Organized Mom: Simplify Life for You and Baby One Step at a Time, I began to realize that because I’ve reached a point in my personal journey where downsizing and simplifying has truly allowed me to pursue the many interests I love. So it made sense for me to also write about those passions, which include travel, home decor, small space living and multi-functional pieces, green living and my personal mom moments.

The evolution of my site and blog has now expanded almost seven years. During that time, I’ve published three books (two self-published), helped dozens and dozens and dozens of clients in their homes and offices, and have continued to simplify (sometimes forced, but mostly intentional). This Fall, a new journey begins that will include a partnership with a large corporation, a trusted brand that you’ve all heard of, especially if you have children who were once infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The formal announcement will come very soon!

The book,, The Organized Mom was a labor of love where I had the opportunity to share with expectant and new moms the ins-and-outs of motherhood (when it comes to staying organized, a.k.a. sane) and what I wished I had known. You know, the stuff people just kinda forget to tell you and would be really, really helpful, especially if you’re a Type A personality like myself, and find comfort in knowing what to expect. Even if you’re not a Type A, there’s still plenty of room-by-room and “what you need & where to put it” organizing advice!

So, thank you so much to all my loyal readers for traveling on this journey with me. Your comments are not only welcome, but extremely helpful to let me know I’m on the right track in providing you the information that helps you have the time to be the best mom, parent, friend, sister, etc. you can…most of that comes in the form of “time” and streamlining and organizing can give you that time.

Thanks again and I look forward to your comments!
