About Stacey
I’m the mother of two daughters, an organizing expert, author of The Organized Mom: Simplify Life for You and Baby One Step at a Time and media spokesperson. I write the blog, My Organized Lifestyle and work with clients wanting organization. Personally, it’s important for me to be organized so I can pursue my interests and enjoy life with my family. We love to ski, go to the beach and travel. I strive to help bring a sense of empowerment and achievement to my clients and readers. Organizing Expert
As an organizing expert, I help individuals get organized in their homes and offices. Organizing can be a deeply personal process and I’m privileged to help individuals who reach out and want to move forward in their lives. When I began organizing clients in 2003, my method for helping individuals get organized quickly developed into the GOPACK Method, which is a simplified way to organize just about anything. GOPACK is an acronym that stands for Group Objects, Purge, Assign, Contain and Keep it up. Some of my clients have become good friends through the process of helping them achieve organization in their lives. That unintentional result is very rewarding!
Published Author
When I began organizing clients, I also started writing a book about organizing. Before The Organized Mom: Simplify Life for You & Baby One Step at a Time was published by Adams Media in December 2009, I self-published two books (one of which is available in an ebook format on my site), The Get Organized Guide for Busy Women and the second self-published book (The Get Organized Guide for New Moms) is what eventually transformed into The Organized Mom. I’ve navigated the process of “finding” an agent, writing a book proposal, securing a contract with a publisher, and working closely with editors to complete the book. Media Spokesperson
In 2010 and 2011, I completed two 10-city tours appearing on local tv stations, representing Sharpie, Post-it Brand, Scotch Brand, Command Brand Products from 3M, Superpages.com and Haier TV. In 2010, I also worked with Fisher-Price on their 7-city Luv U Zoo Event, which also included Sherwin Williams and the Container Store. In 2011, I again worked with Fisher-Price as the organizing expert on five videos for the Room-to-Bloom micro site for the company’s Baby Gear division. Also in 2011, I worked with Storkbrokers.com as their media spokesperson. I’ve met the most amazing people during these experiences!
