Jean Chatzky is a financial guru who focuses on women and finances. Her book, Make Money Not Excuses is a no-nonsense approach to making and saving money. She tells you “how to decode the financial jargon to read your bank statements, how to save money (and where to put it) and why you – yes, you – are likely already a great investor.” A must-have resource for every smart woman!
Lonny Magazine is one of my absolute favorites online when it comes to design. This publication features rooms and rooms of beautifully layered textures and fabrics. Check it out!
Apartment Therapy is a fabulous site/blog that offers amazing design and decorating ideas for small spaces. The blog regularly features house tours of some funky small spaces.
Home-Ec 101 is where you can find an answer to any household clean it, fix it, cook it dilemma. And, if you don’t see what you’re looking for, just ask Heather and she’ll give you the solution.
The Accidental Coochie Mama Andra’s blog is chock-full of personal stories that highlight this brilliant woman’s quirky sense of humor. This blog started in an effort to replace the word “hate” with something else: Cilantro! Not only is Andra a seasoned traveler, but a gourmand and a lover of life. Have fun reading her daily entries.
